Night of Touring

After a 2 hour drive, a 2 hour flight, and another hour of driving we finally made it to our hotel. The Hyatt is super nice and a bunch of other states with youth tour are staying there too. We all have been trading pins and getting to know each other better. We started our tour by going to the 3 different memorials. My favorite was the Jefferson memorial. It really showed all the thought Jefferson put into his writing. This city is beautiful and I'm making a ton of new friends. As much as people told me how fun this trip was I didn't fully understand. That's all changed now and I'm ready for the rest of my awesome week in D.C.
